Porth Ysgo ,Lleyn Peninsula.

This stunning beach on the south coast of the Lleyn is one of my favourites. I've painted it a number of times and I'm sure I will do more. Located between the the incredibly popular Abersoch and the lovely village of Aberdaron, it's well worth finding. The big boulders on this beach provide any artist with fantastic opportunities for great composition. In winter the south-westerlies bring big waves with nothing to stop them. Indeed if you head south-west from here your next landfall would be in the Caribbean!
