Porth Oer (Whistling Sands), Llyn Peninsula

This rather unusual view is all about the deep shadows and the almost black rocks on the beach itself that are wrapped in seaweed. Whistling Sands is world famous for the sound that the sand makes when you walk on it. The sound is created by the unique shape of the individual grains of sand.
