Loch Sheil, Glenfinnan, Scotland.

Loch Sheil, Glenfinnan, Scotland.

£0.00Price

Long before Glenfinnan became famous as a filming location for the Harry Potter films, it was famous, and still is, for a small Frenchman of Scottish descent, otherwise known as the Bonny Prince. Prince Charles Stewart landed on this small beach at the head of Loch Shiel in 1745 to rally the Highland Clans. The 1745 monument stands just out of view on the left of the picture.
