Our daily dog walk often provides the most spectacular views and so I've painted i a number of times now. The iconic Maritime beacon on Dulas island just adds to the scene. This tower was constructed in 1824 by colonel James Hugh of Dulas manor as a shelter for shipwrecked sailors apparently following such a previous incident when stranded sailors nearly perished.
